L’Escala (Rec del Molí), Empuriabrava/Roses (Rubina, first in Spain in 2010) and L’Estartit (Griells) have marked dog stretches. Begur and Cadaqués mean a leashed coastal path and summer bans in many coves.
A hotel “200 m from the beach” does not tell you if that stretch allows dogs in August. NomaPaw ties the stay to the town rule.

Know before you go
- Summer: many urban stretches ban dogs 10:00–19:00 or all day.
- Lead on the camí de ronda; off-lead only where signed.
- Water, bags, shade: few beach bars take dogs at the counter.
