Costa Brava with a dog

Rec del Molí, Rubina and Griells are not the same beach. Town rules, season and the fee before you book.

“Costa Brava dog beach” is a municipal question, not a county one. L’Escala has the Rec del Molí; Empuriabrava/Roses has Rubina (first in 2010); L’Estartit has Griells facing the Medes. In August many town beaches ban dogs.

The coastal path usually needs a lead. A “pet-friendly” hotel in Begur may be a room and nothing else; in L’Escala, cabins sit 10 minutes from the Rec. NomaPaw shows the fee and whether the dog joins the terrace.
